Roster Tab ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Roster Tab mobile application and rostertab.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
By using Roster Tab, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
- Team information: team name, sport, season, and roster data you enter into the app.
- Financial information: dues payment records and transaction history. We do not store credit card or bank account numbers — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.
- Device information: push notification tokens used to send you relevant updates about your team.
- Usage data: how you interact with the app, error logs, and performance data used to improve the service.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Roster Tab service.
- Process dues payments and send payment confirmations.
- Send push notifications and emails related to your team (dues reminders, schedule updates, messages from your team manager).
- Communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Payment Processing
Dues payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. When you make a payment, you are interacting directly with Stripe's secure payment platform. Roster Tab never stores or has access to your full credit card numbers or bank account details.
Team managers who set up payment collection connect their bank accounts directly through Stripe Connect. Roster Tab does not have access to connected bank account credentials.

Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
- Stripe — for payment processing.
- Supabase — our backend infrastructure provider, which stores your data securely.
- Expo / Courier — for push notification and email delivery.
- Law enforcement or government bodies — when required by law.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
Children's Privacy
Roster Tab is not directed at children under 13. Roster entries for players may include names and jersey numbers — these are entered by team managers or parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage (Supabase), HTTPS for all data in transit, and secure token storage on your device. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
