Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Roster Tab mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Roster Tab is a team management platform that enables sports team managers to organize rosters, collect dues payments, track expenses, manage schedules, and communicate with team members and families.
Accounts
To use Roster Tab, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
You must be 18 or older to create a team manager account and collect payments. Parents may create family accounts on behalf of their minor children.
Payments and Dues Collection
Roster Tab enables team managers to collect dues from team members via Stripe. By setting up payment collection, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Connected Account Agreement.
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of dues amounts you set.
- Providing Stripe with accurate and complete business information.
- Complying with all applicable laws regarding the collection of funds from team members.
- Handling disputes with families regarding payments.
Roster Tab acts as a technology platform only and is not a party to payment transactions between team managers and families. We do not hold, transfer, or take custody of funds.
Payment processing fees are charged by Stripe. Roster Tab does not add additional platform fees at this time.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Roster Tab to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Collect payments for purposes other than legitimate team expenses and dues.
- Harass, intimidate, or harm other users.
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Use the service for any commercial purpose other than managing your sports team.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Roster Tab (team names, player rosters, messages, documents). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it as necessary to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you submit.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roster Tab and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of funds, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
We are not responsible for actions taken by team managers, coaches, or other users on the platform.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users or the platform.
You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
